Dear GIG Families, 

I am pleased to welcome you back to the 2020-21 school year! I would like to extend a special welcome to all of the new stuff and student joining GIG International this year. I am honored to be your principal. Our goal at GIG is to work together to provide our students with a rich learning environment. My vision, as the principal, is to ALWAYS put kids first! My belief is that all students can learn. As educators, we need to discover how each child learns in order to differentiate our instruction to support diverse learning styles. In a collaborative effort, we want children to thrive in all possible ways. My hope is that all children will LOVE school and nurture a learning environment that is positive, safe, warm, caring, as well as a fun place to learn and grow.  
Education is a joint venture and Team wildcats greatly appreciates the support you provide for your children at home and at school to help them meet their learning goals.

Without the support of parent contributions through our extraordinary PTA, we would not have many of the programs that make GIG  so unique and successful. Please consider contributing via the “Just for the Kids” giving program so that we can continue to maintain our reputation for excellence.

Objectives 

GIG International provides quality education at a reasonable price and provides a conducive environment for learning for all kids. We wish to establish each student as a productive citizen.  Every Friday is a chapel for the entire school, during this time we some moral ethics that we do believe will help our students in making positive decision in the society.

Our desire is to develop student’s communication, organizational and research, problem solving, and to build our students’ character and interpersonal skills from Daycare through grade 9.They are taught in a way that will help students  meet local and international standards with other institutions worldwide.

Customs

It is the school’s custom that she celebrates Christmas and Year End parties every year  by having students’ Christmas party and program with the support and contributions of the Parents. The school also accepts teacher’s appreciation from the parents through the director’s office.  We go on field trips and celebrate school’s Anniversary as well.

Apart from these customs, the school also carry on other programs, extra actives or extra curriculum activities that might require extra fees depending on the activity, which she will notify each parent.

The GIG International School came to formation to appease the inadequacy of schools and to fill in the need for more quality education in and around Monrovia.

GIG International is an independent private Christian Daycare, Primary and Secondary Institution, that offers  standard education from Daycare through grade 9.
